Since I was still a little shaky from the accident my mom came up and drove me to billings for Cloe Docter Apointment with the Pediatric orthopedic Surgeon about Cloe's knee. Before I tell you what the Doctor said I want to remind you what the orthopedic surgeon in Powell told me, "She has a torn meniscus, the growth is abnormal, and we will have to do surgery on it some day maybe in two years."
So, we drive all the way to billings and now this doctor says that there might be a torn meniscus but they can't even really tell and that that is what the radiologist even wrote, apparently I couldn't understand the jargon. She does have the larger meniscus for sure but there are other kids who have this who just grow out of it or have surgery went they are older. He says that he would not recommend surgery because the risk factor is a lot higher then actually keeping it the way it is. There is a big posibility that they trim the cartiladge that she needed. His suggestion was to just keep going like we are, tylenol everyday. Unless it locks up and stays that way or swells a lot or the pain gets worse. How much worse does the pain have to get? AHHHH anyway, I do understand the risks and I didn't know that they weren't even sure that it was torn so.....I don't know...I just feel so bad for her. They want her to keep getting check ups on it and he said he didn't think Physical Therapy would help but I'm going to get a second oppinion about that.
Also, Grandma and Grandpa Casey are coming down to pick up a work truck in Powell and are going to let us borrow their jeep until we get our tax money back which is going to take longer because apparently the Tornado torn down some stuff at their head center. Brent works till Monday so we'll be going to our new ward alone. Pray for good Kids. :)
