Canada...Trip Part 3

We went out bowling one night and it was fun to hang out with Andy and to get to know her boyfriend, John, he is really a good guy I'm happy for her. We went shopping at the local mall and a lady was talking to us about how they had to make the mall look really nice because the americans come by the bus load to shop there and then we mentioned that we were american and she said oh sorry about the american comment. :) And she brought her husband over to meet us and they were very nice and said John looks like the guy off of Million Dollar listing on Bravo and he totally does.

Chad from Million Dollar Listing Compare pics Same hair cut and everything crazy.
Just going out to eat together and driving around together it was a great time! We drove back to Detriot and flew home. Drove back from billings... A lot of traveling and long days but well worth the adventure.

The Wedding....Trip Part 2

We drove on to Canada and it was so nice to see family. Aunt Polly, Uncle Ray and Rachel came and it was so nice to have them there and to enjoy them and their company. It was also very nice to meet Grivin's family and to dance and enjoy each other and help each other get ready for the wedding. I think LeeAnn will like living in Canada but we sure will miss her being closer. Getting ready to enter for the ring ceremony.
The Cake Gorgeous! I hope I can make cakes like that some day.

Overall LeeAnn's Wedding was beautiful, and fun...I must say though I can't really say relaxing. We were busy helping the bride and Brent and I Emcee'd the wedding and there were a lot of late nights and traveling involved. But overall I really loved being there for LeeAnn and sharing this experience with her and getting to see where she'd be living and enjoying family.

Detroit...Trip part 1

Our first drive was to Billings to catch a layover in denver, where Brent beat me repeatedly in games of speed, and then on to Detroit (cheaper than flying to Canada for my sisters wedding, the whole reason for the trip.)We get to Detroit and do some sight seeing after a long process of trying to get our rental car. Let's just say we didn't start the trip off so smoothly but learned some good lessons about the city. Walking path by the river.
I call this the UFO....but it's a fountain I'm sure it looks gorgeous in the summer.

ON top of the parking garage city and river view.

They had some really old building with beautiful architecture.
We just happened to be in Detriot during the biggest International auto show. A lady offered us a free ticket I was a little worried about being arressted at first but she didn't sell it to us so anyway one of us was in free so it was worth it to go for the price of one. It felt like I was waling into a futuristic world...keep in mind I'm from Greybull and we're about a decade back in time anyway.

Matched my shirt I had to get a shot.

Some funky looking car pod things!

Don't I look like I'm going back to the future? :)

Overall we had a nice night in Detroit back to the airport to pic up the rest of the crew and drive on to Canada...

Kids are soooo cute when...

They're sleeping!

They were having Quiet time in their room and very rarely do they fall asleep anymore and never when they're together.
A couple Sunday's ago our family was asked to sing in sacrament meeting so we planned it around the kids and "I'm trying to be like Jesus" Then I got asked to give a talk on Worshipping through Hymns it was great I could talk about our experience learning this song and what we learned from it and how it's helped our family and I did and then we got up to sing. Cloe started with her part and then Dakota with hers and then we began to sing together but the microphone which had not been their at all of our practices began to be a problem and my children were pushing each other back and forth while singing, "...be gentle and loving in deed and in thought..." Bishop said, "only the Casey family would have a brawl up at the podium." Needless to say we were entertaining although I'm not quiet sure it was the way we intended it to be.

Another New Year!

2011...
I baked a cake and decorated with my new cake decorating kit that brent got me for christmas I can't wait to actually start learning things..I'm going to take a class in April but for now we have confetti decorated 2011 cake chocolate with a peanut butter buttercream very tasty.

We spend the evening together as a family with fondu and shrimp our favorite new years treats and some bowling wii and twister. It was a lot of fun! Yuck dog kisses!
