Corn Maze

Brent Went Hunting and Shot his elk this year a calf for good meat. :) The girls and I went to Casper to see my family. Holly and Matt were flying in from Washington and Andy and Kevin came from cheyenne.  So it was nice to see everone and Uncle Matt got to meet the girls and I got to meet Kevin. It's fun to have more guys around too bad Brent missed it this time.  We played spoons and Hung out.  My dad came with us I really wanted to take the girls to the Corn Maze...Okay I really wanted to go to the Corn Maze.  And I loved it and the girls and my dad had fun too.
We didn't get too lost, afterall I was with my dad and he has got a great sence of direction and we had a map too.  We had fun figuring it out and letting the girls pick some.
This was a huge place of dried corn to sink in it was really fun.

We took the hayride to the petting Zoo

Kota caught this chicken...."Hey what's the big idea....where am I?"

Fun trip!!! Cloe even got to celebrate her birthday with everyone too.

Seven

I can't believe that Cloe turned Seven this year.  And she's in first grade, where does the time go. Cliche I know but so true.

She wanted black swirls, red roses and white balls, I had a lot of fun making her cake.
(Cake as an art is kind of nice because you can't keep it. :)

Dad had the day off and even stayed for Cloe's birthday instead of heading off hunting earlier, that was very nice.  I said she could do whatever she wanted for her birthday.  She wanted to play musical chairs and duck duck goose.  That was a lot of fun! And she wanted Sloppy Joes and homemade macaroni and cheese.
I love it when they get excited about what they got.  Cloe was very sweet this year and very grateful even for even the smallest drawing that Paige gave her, I thought it was very sweet.  I was a little worried because I downscaled this year but she was very grateful.
Dressed up to attend the Harvest Party.  The Party was on Cloe's Birthday this year and that's what she wanted to do. It was fun, They dressed up and found lot's of things to do and people to see.
Some of the kids friends at the Harvest Party.

Happy Birthday Cloe I'm so proud of you!

Fall is falling right in

We all got terribly sick for a week and I was out of commission we all went on antibiotics missed school and church and well basically canceled everything for the week.  It was kind of a nice feeling to know that I could do that.  But then came the week after and I played catch up the whole week and am still trying to get some things done.
We went deer hunting the weekend of recovering and mostly did driving hunting but it was nice to get out of the house.
Pumkin Carving is always fun and we did have fun.  Since we grew our own pumpkins this year we each had our own and the girls did their own pumpkins.  Cutting and all. (I got some knifes safe for the kids to use.) That was very nice.

These are our pumkins from our garden this year. We grew 14 pumpkins.  Brent carved the top one then mine then Cloe's then Kota's and then Paiges.  I love how Paige stuck a piece of her pumpkin back into the nose whole and I tried to tell you you were suppossed to take it out and she said no that they were boogers. :)  Cloe cut out Hair on the sides of hers and Kota peeled off hair on the side of hers and had a baby tooth growing. :)

HayRide

We had a lot of fun we went on a Hayride and picked out pumkins with our friends what a great activity and we had HOT apple cider to follow.  Paige was running around with the boys so I missed getting her picture in the pumpkin patch.  We had grown a lot of pumkins this year so they got to pick out a smal pumpkin, some weren't to happy about that. :)

Fishing trip

We found a fun little lake to go fishing with a nice easy hiking trail around it, we didn't catch anything which was kind of frustrating and Brent had to help all of us fishing novices with our lines so he didn't get to fish much :)....

But we did enjoy the lake and the girls made a little house in a tree and I loved the hike and I didn't include the picture where I looked like elmer fud, and we saw deer reallu close and elk and it was an adventure exploring this new place.

Van's Wedding

One of Brent's best friends from High school, Van, Got married and we went to the wedding in Jackson Hole, WY.  Grandma and Grandpa Casey watched the girls and it was fun to go.  It was a very nice wedding.

We also got to see one of Brent's friends, Jessie, from the Academy, for lunch.

Got to see Brent's Parents and Darren and Brenda and their kiddos, and Brent went to the temple dedication they were having in their stake. The trip was short but sweet.  Steve showed the girls aroung his fire station in Rock springs before we left.

Cloe

Cloe is busy this year in 1st grade, she has got tons of homework and lots of reading practice to do.  She is really getting to be a great reader this year.  She is also doing horse riding lessons, girls scouts, and Dance.  She has a couple really sweet friends at school and she is always so sweet and caring and thinking of others.  She is a very good artist, she won second place at the fair for her pumpkin painting and this year her pig art has made it into the fair.  She loves playing with friends and riding her bike.  She is helpful around the house and kind to her sisters.  She also has a cute sense of humor.  She's a perfectionist and she tries very hard at everything she does.

Kota

Kota and Cloe were at a Roller skating activity at the rec center and Kota fell and Split her chin.  She was so brave she cried for a second right when it happened and then she got some gauze on it and was just sitting in the office waiting for me nice and calm.

 Before
 After it was glued
 Scabbed....it's looking much better now.

Kota is enjoying Horse riding lessons, Skating School, Dance Class, Girl Scouts, and Kindergarden.  She loves school when school started she said, "School isn't work at all it's just fun."  She knows her letters and sounds and she's reading small books.  She loves books and she loves to read.  She really likes "Ramona and Beezsus" (she reminds me a bit of Ramona.)  She is not scared of much, she's very brave.  She rides that horse so brave at two point up and down without and hands and it doesn't even phase her.  She is smart, Funny and "popular."  We went to the buffs football game and tons of kids say, "Hi Kota!" as we walk in.  I said, "Wow Kota you're popular."  Later she asked me, "what is Popular."  I said, "It's when you have a lot of friends."  She said, "Oh yes mom I am popular I am friends with my whole class."  So cute!  And she is friendly and gets along with others so well.  She is also independant and neat (pics up her room without me asking) and she has a cute sense of style, always putting together cute outfits.

Paige

Paige is three and is going to Preschool this year.  She loves to talk and tell stories.  She knows how to demand attention. :)  She is very special to our family.  With one look at her it can brighten your day, she has a wonderfully bright smile.  She is fun and loves people.  She loves hugs and kisses.  She loves it when mommy and daddy help her.  She loves her friends.  She likes to go to storytime, Playgroup, and Dance Class.  She likes to color and she is very good at, she uses lots of colors and colors in the lines.  She loves horses and she loves candy.  Her favorite foods are Macaroni and Cheese and Bologna and Cheese, she also really likes fruit.  She is so cute when her sisters are off at school she gets all the toys out and plays with them in the living room, and makes believe all sorts of things, one of her favorite things lately had been playing with her baby dolls and dressing up.  She also likes to read and ride her bike.  What a great girl!!!

The Lemonade Stand

We read a book about a lemonade Stand, really about a boy selling bad breath in his balloons. :) but anyway, of course we had to have one and they sold seven cups. :)  and they had fun too!!!  They each had a job and kept shouting, "Do you Want to Buy some lemonade?"
