Finally

Brent finally allowed me to cut his hair. He's really sick with broncitis and said maybe it was the medicine talking. Anyway, I think that I did a pretty good job for the first time and it only took me an hour and a half.
And I took a picture of Cloe playing dress up, she loves to dress up really pretty!

Easter

Easter Weekend was great, we had egg hunts, great food, and colds to go around. :) I love how Cloe was helping Dakota get candy at the Egg hunt, she was putting stuff in her basket for her it was so cute.

Chocolate Cake

Today Dakota turned one years old. I can't believe it. We Had a pretty good day. For Breakfast we had our Birthday Waffles and Ice Cream. It was so cute to watch Dakota with the Ice Cream, she was so intrigued by it, but she loved it she even used her fork for the first time. Most of the Waffle ended up on the floor. Then we had a bunch of errands to run. Then Lunches and naps, and I went to the Grocery store. Then Came Cake and Presents. Dakota loved the cake, she even dug in a little early, I loved it. She had some help from mom and Cloe opening her presents. She opened her book mommy made first, she loved it she kept looking through it and didn't want to open the next gift, so we finally did and we got it opened and she liked it at first and kept sticking her hand through the whole where tickle me Elmo was. So, then we took it out and turned it on and she started crying and shaking uncontrollably she was so scared, I felt so bad. Oh well, at least she liked her book. Then after that she would not let me put her down and she wanted her Elmo but was very catious, she just wanted to hold and cuddle him on my lap. Cloe kept wanting to turn it on and dakota would get excited but nervous and kind of upset because she wanted to hold him. She was really fun!

Burger Cookie

So, I was watching Home Improvement today and it was the episode where Randy is trying to impress a girl and he was trying to offer her a sugar cookie and he just couldn't say it right and finally called it a burger cookie. I think that episode is really funny and an ode to our family home evening tonight was decorating sugar cookies and an easter lesson. Course I ended up doing most of the decorating because everyone else was doing most of the eating. (Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if a burger or two did sneek into the cookies, lol. j/k yuck!)
Cloe and Dakota made Easter Bunnies today too! (I think I should have done something for St. Patrick's Day or Something, Oops. :)

Cloe and Dakota Love to:
Workout with Mommy! Cloe doing a lunge. (I'm working on some pictures for the book I'm working on.)
Play Outside! Cloe and Dakota sneeking outside when I went out for a minute.
To go shopping! Dakota pushing the shopping cart and feeling like such a big girls.

Play Peek a Boo! Cloe Hiding and mom finding Dakota.

My Princesses

Decorating for easter is something that I enjoy yet on the other hand is one of the most messy decorations. Becasue my girls have the easter baskets, eggs, and grass all over. I feel like I'm picking it up all day.
Since Cloe wanted to wear a skirt I decided on a skirt for Dakota too. Cloe was really excited she always tells me that she is a princess when she wears a dress so this morning when she saw Dakota in a dress she said, "aCos a Princess too!" (aCos is how dakota sounds when Cloe says it.)

Santa Claus

Ruth and Steve came to visit us this weekend we really enjoyed their visit. Plus, Brent found a tickle me Elmo for Dakota's Birhtday for $9, all it needed was new batteries. Cloe went to her friend Gretel's Birhtday party friday. Monday FHE was Interviewing tips for Brent. He's got an interview with the sheriff of Big Horn County Wednesday. Plus, eveyone helped brent do Dishes. (Brent can talk me into pizza hut if he does the dishes. I usually wait for the moment when the dishes pile up.)The girls and I were sitting in a waiting room sitting next to a larger man with a beard and Cloe asked me who he was and I said that I didn't know and that she should ask him what his name is, and then she whispered, "Santa Claus." I had to keep my laugh to myself, but it was so cute.

Dakota

This is Dakota and her friends Dex. It is so cute how she wants to play with kids and be around them and that she recognizes Dex when she sees him. It's amazing to me how she recognizes the difference between kids she already knows and ones that are strangers. The day when my friend took this picture Right when we walked in the house she walked right over to him and kept following him around. It was so cute.

People keep telling me they are going to turn me into to Family Services but really Dakota fell into Cloe's toy box. She is still a bit wobbly when she walks but wants to walk everywhere now. Surprisingly she cried less then when she does when I take away something that she isn't supposed to have. She loves to have stuff in her mouth. For example, the wet wash cloth that she has in this picture. She gets so mad at me when she can't have something that I have, like a can of pop or something.

I've been feeling so good about myself today. I woke up early, which is one of my goals, and got ready before the girls got up. Then from there the day just went really good. Scriptures, Chores, errands and everything just got done like I planned (I even got a nap in.) It just felt good.

Oliver

(Not the greatest picture of me Blah)
This weekend we all went off to Casper to see my sister Andrea and her great acting skills in the High school Play Oliver. She did a great job! Although I wished she had more parts. It brought me back to my High school days of plays and choir. Brent however offered to stay behind with the kids and unfortunatly had to listened to Dakota Cry for over on hour, and didn't get much homework done. WE also got to take the girls to the Swimming pool, which Cloe has been talking about for weeks, and she loved it soooo much. She had a blast and did not want to leave and we had been there forever.
