Random summer pics

Brent's new calling as ward mission leader means we get to have a lot more fun with the elders!
Cloe had a blast in summer school this year.  This is her and her friend Caroline on the bus ride home after a field trip.  They had one every Friday, how fun! Museums, fossil hunts, and Pepsi plant and the airport!  Dakota and Paige got to do swim lessons.  They are both just little fish.  Paige swam without any help. :) yeah!
Officer Armstrong always has fun with my girls when they're around and they love his dogs.  His drug dog Santana and his two Saint Bernards too.  He's sporting Dakota's hat in this picture.
We have started having the girls pick up dog poop whenever they give us the "poopy lip" Paige has been doing it quite a bit! :) at least she is doing it in style!

Paige also took a Little Scientist class and made this flour puff paint picture.  And they did egg projects.  They dropped the bag with an egg in it and stuffed it with feathers and stuff to see if it would still break and it did! :) it was fun though!

Dakota got to go to the fair with a friend and they got her a cool hat, she loved it!

Cloe is spending the week with Grandma Nessi and Dakota and Paige are staying with Grandma and Grandpa Casey.  I'm at home packing hoping to get ready to move to our first house.  More on that later.

Forth of July

We had a great forth of July!  Grandma and Grandpa Casey came for a visit!  I love the flag she made, it made a very festive day!

We went to the parade in Cody.  Brent worked grandpa painted and grandma and the girls and I went to the parade.  We had a blast and ate at the Irma for lunch and I saw a lot of people.

We had a BBQ with ribs...yum!  And we had the Terry's over too.  The kids including adult kids ;) played with poppers and small fireworks.

Then we went out and shot off big fireworks and sparklers!  We ha a blast!  Paige was really afraid at first but she was then running around back and forth when the boys were lighting the fireworks with all the other kids.

Dallas Trip Finished

We got to see an extinct Volcano which was really fun.  We got there at 4:30 and it closed at 5 so we didn't have much time but we made the most of it in fact the pictures are of us going down to the bottom.  And then we started walking around the top and from the top we could see Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico so that was cool and then we were half way around and realized we were running out of time to make it all the way back so we picked up the pace and ended up running at the end so we didn't get locked in.  The ranger was really nice and waited for us Brent and Cloe and Kota made it to the end before the time, but Paige and I had to stop to pee/poo and then for flip flops, and "My legs are so tired."  She was crying before we got back thinking that they had left us.

The kids were great in the car and it was such a fun trip.  We stayed the night at my grandma's on the way back and then met my dad for lunch in casper on the last part of the drive home.  We had a great trip and it was just all we could have hoped for.

Dallas Part 2

We really had a blast while we were in Dallas...
NRH2O  Water Park was just awesome.  We had a blast and it was a perfect pick for all the kids because they could do pretty much every ride even the largest water coaster, which was a blast I think I was more afraid then the girls.  Infact I almost turned back but seeing the girls do it gave me courage, thanks girls.  And I had to be brave for them too. :)  We also got to have dip in dots which are awesome.  And we had a blast with Aunt shauna and Uncle Brice in the lazy river and the wave pool and racing slides, Cloe was a little taller and got to do some of the scary slides she went on the straight drop down slide which I wouldn't even do so I'm proud of her she was very brave and having a blast.  Paige was also very brave the first thing she said after we got done with the water coaster was "I want to do that again."  She and I screamed the whole way down a highlight of the day!  Dakota was independent and wanted to ride the lazy river by herself and ride the waves be herself and she did a good job too, she loved that coaster too!
Aunt Shauna's goal was to get favorite Aunt while we were there and sorry other Aunties she did a good job getting there.  She read then great books every night.  She made pancakes and corn dogs...which were a hit.  Thanks Aunt Shauna for everything we had a blast.

We ate at a really good mexican restaurant, the food was good the service was good and it was just a really nice place.  The girls got cowgirl hats for their texas souvenir.  We drove by the Dallas texas temple, and we drove downtown and got to see the big city including the place where Kennedy was shot that was really neat to get to see.

The baseball game was a blast.  We even got a couple foul balls in our group.  One went right over the finger tips of the person in front of us and then landed right in aunt shauna's lap and then she gave it to the girls which was super sweet they loved it.  We even got it signed at the end of the game.  And then the girls earned uncle bucks by collecting all the used plastic cups at the end of the game.  Dakota didn't want to get any and Paige didn't want to hold hers so Dakota held them and they split the bucks.  Thanks Uncle Brice. :)
The Girls also got to go turtle and fish hunting while Shauna and I went shopping.  We all just had fun.
I love dakota's face in this picture like "oh man I wish I got the fish."

She looks so happy I love it!

Uncle Brice is sooooo "happy" too!  What a great time!!

Dallas Trip Part 1

We had a lot to do to plan for our road trip to Dallas, TX.  I was busy getting things to do and plans charted out.  Paige tried on hats for the trip and we forgot to bring them, thank goodness she was still tall enough for the water park.
On our way we stayed at the country inn and Suites in Amarillo, TX it was a very nice hotel.  The girls thought we were in a castle.  I love this picture of Kota and I.
We got to stop at Cadillac Ranch and it was awesome we even brought spray Paint and we all loved legal Spray Paint on vehicles.
Paige got her hand and got the Chicken Pox. :)
Cloe was spreading the Red Paint.
Paige decided to try again, This time she Sprayed Cloe's Hair Pink. :)
Kota was all over the place and couldn't stop talking about how much she loved it, Should I be worried? :)
We had to represent our state.
 It was awesome.
I was so happy to finally find this restaurant.  Best BBQ ever.  Even for a Small and little bit scary garage feeling ma and pa kind of place.  The food was awesome.  I was so happy to find it because for some reason my map said it was in Colorado, thank goodness it wasn't and we found it day 2 instead of day 1 it was well worth the wait.  The place we stopped the first day didn't even compare, houser house your going down.
We finally made it!!! It was so good to see Brice and Shauna.  Aunt Shauna was so smart and she had the cooler ready with food for us to head down to the pool for dinner and swimming what a nice way to end the day and start our time in Dallas with them.  We played Marco Polo and Smear the Queer which I didn't really appreciate when I was the queer.  What a nice place they have!

to be continued...
