Christmas Craze

We have been really busy this holiday season. We had four holiday dance performances this year.  The talent show at church, the holidazzle chili dinner, wyoming retirement center, and big horn federal open house.  Two nights of school Christmas programs.  We have also been making goodies we made kiss cookies and put together cookie plates and delivered those, we got to visit with others.  We went sledding in the backyard today, that was a lot of fun and Cloe and Dakota had fun burying themselves under the snow.  Then we had hot chocolate.  I also had a blast helping Cloe's class for their Christmas party today!  We had our ward Christmas dinner and they played a Christmas video and it was nice.

The parade at the holidazzle.  There was also, ornament making at the library and hot cocoa stations all along the street and cotton candy and candy canes and cool light glasses at the eye doctor and Santa...  It was just a wonderful night and such a great community feeling!

They got to see Santa at the holidazzle and I can't believe my kids didn't know what they wanted for Christmas, except Kota.  She wants high heeled boots and horse rider moxie doll and two wiggly teeth.  The other day the girls were at a friends when we went to billings for shopping and a water softener.  Her friend accidentally shut the door and hit her lip and she got a little fat lip and.... A wiggly tooth.  She told her teacher, "I have good news and bad news.  The bad news is that I have a fat lip the good news is that I have a wiggly tooth." Too cute.  I just love my kiddos.  Today all three of them worked together and got along and got the dishes done.  Awesome Christmas gift!

Dance and Decorating

The girls helped decorate for Christmas and we listened to Christmas music it was nice. Although I still like the tree halfway symmetrical so I did help with that. :)
We dance for the Church Talent show we didn't win but it was fun and we have a couple other holiday dances planned for this year too which will be fun because we haven't done that before.

We also made gingerbread men the other day that was a lot of fun as well and a Christmas movie with dad and Carmel popcorn.  We've been reading lot's of fun Christmas books!  We are having a great start to 25 days of Christmas!

Annual Tree Cutting

The kids are getting older and the tree adventure more fun although we are really not ones to stay out long looking for the perfect tree so we get what we get and get out of there.  It was really fun and no one complained and actually I think we got a really nice tree.  Then we ate lunch at bear lodge on top of the mountain what a great day!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Kota was my helper this thanksgiving!  I really enjoy teaching her how to cook!  And the other girls too the other day Cloe made fried eggs and made better eggs then I ever make and I gave her a compliment and said that her family would be blessed to have her or something like that and then Dakota said, "I'm not going to cook for my family." "You're not?" I responded.  She said, "No I'm going to marry a man who can cook?" Oh my it begins. :)
We had a wonderful thanksgiving our friends joined us for a turkey dinner.  We played a game with turkey clothes pins to see who could end up with all of them in the end.  We ate delicious food and played kids dance, and thanksgiving Bingo!  We all said what we were thankful for and the girls set the table and they did a great job and enjoyed it.  I love my Family and friends and am grateful for such a wonderful year with a new house and a baby to come who could ask for anything more. :)
Brent Hosted the Turkey Trot again this year.  I even got to ride my bike this year what a great time, thanks Brent!

Cloe's birthday

She's turning eight and had a friend party the year and chose roller skating we couldn't get the rink on her bday so we had to wait a weekend but for her birthday we went to Cody and got her ears pierced, very exciting!  Then later she picked Pizza Hut and ice cream for a special mom and dad dinner date.  It was a lot of fun! When we got home she even said, "best birthday ever!" Great thing to hear.

So brave and she didn't even cry!

And then at home Brent played hot and cold to give her the gift he got her
