Well it’s a little big but that’s to be expected with my cute little skinny mini.
Dakota was so excited and she said it was just a great day and wonderful feeling!

Baptism Dress Cupcakes for her Luncheon to follow.  We also had meatballs as she requested.  The Shelley's and the Hanson’s came to her luncheon at the house.  We are so glad that they made it.  It such a nice baptism.  She had so many people come to her baptism and show her support.  I’m a proud momma.

Dakota's Spa Party

Dakota had a great birthday!  She got her ears pierced and she got to have a spa party.  We did nails and facials, and hair and foot baths and movie and popcorn in pj's.  She and mom made her spa cake!  What a great girl! I can't believe she's eight!! She is so sweet and she is thoughtful and a planner.  She planned this party for years like more then two years she has been planning for it!  I'm so proud of we and the sweet friend she is and she is such a wonderful helper!  It's great to be eight!)

The Big Six

I can not believe she's six!  She is growing up so much.  She is the girl who always knows what she wants and she goes for it.  I love that quality about her.  She wanted spaghetti, French bread, and canned green beans for dinner, and she wanted the left over pie in the fridge for dessert.

She got glitter glue and sticky gems.
 And a Fairy Winx doll.
Also for another surprise she's been wanting to switch beds so we all pitched in and helped switch the beds around.  Cloe was such a good sport helping and even leaving her a nice note on her pillow.  She also got to pass out Rice Krispy Treats at school.  She had a really good birthday.
A Friend made her a shawl and gave her a kitty purse making kit and she got her picture alphabet book from Grandma Casey.

Dakota

What a sweet girl she is! I really love spending time with her. The other day I took her on a Mommy Date to the store! I know it's not the most exciting thing to do, but the point was to spend some time alone with her. It was amazing to see the difference in her personality when it was just her. I didn't have a single disciplinary problem, she helped picked out groceries (the cutest was her picking up the really heavy milk jugs), she talked with me (she told me all sorts of stories), and listened very well. It was so neat to see her this way. In the pictures she was so cute and picked out her outfit, very boyish but still the cutest smiliest girl. :)

I love the milk just drooling down her chin.
