I forgot.....25 days of Christmas!

Back
Front

We did do our Traditional 25 days of Christmas again this year. Here are some pictures of us getting our Christmas Tree which was quite fun! :) It didn't last long, about 10 minutes into we had crying whining girls, Kota was the only one who still had the umphf to smile for the picture. Dad and I were forced to pic quickly and get a half way lopsided tree. Afterwards when we got in the truck Cloe said, "Next time get me a babysitter." They did have fun when we drove up to bear lodge for lunch and hot chocolate. It was a good day, I think!
And we did decorate the tree and the girls are pointing to their favorite ornament in this picture Cloe's is her First Christmas Rudolph which was hung high so sisters could not get to it. Which was probably a good idea because we broke two or more this year.
This year we did a chain for out 25 days and everytime we took a thing off of the chain we would do that for the day. Some of the things were:
  • Watching a Christmas Movie
  • Reading Christmas Stories like finishing the Nutcracker
  • Going to Christmas Concerts like Cloe's
  • Brent's Christmas Work party which was fun, they had a comedian which was pretty good and the prime rib and food was pretty good too
  • Making Gingerbread Houses which How did I not get a picture of those, it was so nice this year cause I put the houses together before everyone got together and all the kids had to do was decorate it that was a lot less stress free
  • Oh, and this really didn't count for one of the days but I did make that quilt above for my sis Andy for Christmas this year
  • Singing Christmas Songs and hunting for Jack rabbits
  • Going to a movie
  • Christmas Shopping for others and wrapping
  • Dancing to Christmas Music
  • Making our Christmas card, which made making it this year a lot less stressful and more fun for me it only took an hour instead of half the day :) Cloe helped the most she picked the pictures and the card design I loved it!
  • The christmas Lights Parade and Santa, (we were in the parade at the front in dad's patrol car and then we got to watch
  • Having friends over
  • Visiting with Family
  • Making Cookies and Delivering them
  • And Honestly I can't remember what else right now I should have written this a lot earlier :) We had a Fun December!

The Pink One

Cloe Was the First one to go and she was very nervous. Every time the Horse would start to move she started to get nervous and kind of crying and want it to stop. But she did Get a second turn and she had a lot more confidence and rode around a couple times. The horses name is Magnus, what a cute guy!
You can't tell they were excited or happy could you.
Paige up there lovin it! She had a ball! However Paige was a little disappointed because she did not get to ride "the pink one." There was a horse at their facility that had a pink blanket and braids and her name is "snowy." So before we got there she just kept saying I want the pink horsey and after we left she found out her name and all she could say was "I want nowy." (maybe she'll learn her s's now. :)
Kota Did not want that horse to stop the minute she got on it. She was grinning ear to ear and laughing. The Lady was trying to teach her to say whoo and stop the horse. But the minute the horse would stop she would say "walk on." She did not want to get off that horse she could have done it for hours. :) They also got to feed them afterwards, which they loved! Kota pushed the wheel barrow and was just lovin the whole thing.

Christmas Casper Trip!

We had gifts at Pops House and then we did Gifts at Grandma Nessi's House. That was a lot of Fun! We Went to Pottery by you and the Girls Made Cups they loved it! We also went Ice Skating and they had some really neat kind of walker type things that the girls got to use and it was so nice because we all could enjoy it and I think there were more falls by the adults then the kids. :) We enjoyed nice meals together and Glee Karaoke too! We had Fun! A successful trip, I actually didn't try to fit in tons of shopping it was nice to be able just to enjoy family!

Christmas Time Came and Went :)

Cloe at her Christmas Concert.
Christmas Eve Gifts! We also had a nice dinner with prime rib mashed potato's, sweet potato's, sparkling Cider... The boys went pheasant hunting and the girls cooked the goodies. We also had Trevor and the family visit for a bit. We read the Night before Christmas (Courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa and their recorded rendition) and left cookies for Santa, and drove around and looked at lights and we read the story of our savior.
Paige Enjoying Her Chocolate Santa that she got Christmas Morning. The first thing she asked Santa for for Christmas was Candy! I guess she got what she wanted. :) This Picture reminds me a bit of years past Christmas's.
Kota Christmas Morning Got her Cowgirl Stuff she asked for. She told everyone who asked what she wanted for Christmas, "I want Cowgirls boots, Cowgirl shirt, Cowgirl Pants, Cowgirl Hat!" Her Sunday school teacher told me, "I sure hope you got her cowgirl stuff for Christmas."
We had a nice relaxing Christmas day with just our family. We went to church in their new boots. They got one major gift this year and they enjoyed them all day. Paige got a Cat, Kota got a horse, and Cloe got a dog and they just loved them it was nice I'm glad I didn't brake the bank this year. :)
The girls got each other gifts at the Santa's shop this year and they all got unicorns. It was quite the experience. They also bought some gifts for others. They wouldn't let mom's in and I was a little irritated that their helpers did not stick with the lists that I sent with them and it was crazy busy tons of people. I think wal-mart or the dollar store will suffice next year. I did like how they got to be on their own so I will leave my opinions out more next year too.
Dad's new camera I'm not going to tell you want he really wants to do with it.
Christmas morning!
Christmas Eve in their new Jammies.
Love it!!!!

Ebony's Gift a new sweater. :)

Christmas eve, Piney's gift a new sweater. A ten, great form! :)

Cloe's Christmas Concert! She did a great job! She was very Enthusiastic and very fun to watch. She sang loud and proud and did all the movements. I was a proud momma!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Thanksgiving at the homefront

Brent and Steve got to go pheasant hunting and Daddy got one and the girls were just mezmorized by it. They even watched him gut it and Cloe just loved seeing the heart. "I got to see a real heart!" she's been telling eveyone.
We went out and played dodgeball for thanksgiving what a blast until...

Daddy hit a too hard and see that irritated look on Paige's face, that was a stop it look.
Cloe really got into it
Our thanksgiving table we had all the traditional stuff, turkey, green bean casserole, rolls, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pies, stuffing, cranberries..we had the missionaries for dinner and then we had friends and Uncle Steve and Aunt Ruth over later for Pies and games it was a great day!
