Mothers Day!

This is the Jewlery Box that Brent got for me for Mother's Day and for my Birthday. I love it, I've been really needing a place for my Necklaces. The thing that I like the best about it though was all the time that Brent spent on finding me the Perfect one. It really means a lot to me.

These are the Flower pots that the girls made for me for mothers day at story time. It was really fun for them to see their grass grow. And they also get "hair cuts" which was a lot of fun.

The first of us sisters to get her Bachelors. Congrats to Holly! She already has a job in Oak Harbor, WA. It was nice to see everyone and it was a nice little trip for us to Spearfish, SD what a nice town.

Flowers

So I was a little early on the summer call it was just so exciting to have such nice weather. And also we were a little early in planting our gardens, I just hope they make it we did get them covered when the frost came but they still look like they are wilting. And the learning continues.

Dakota's Garden Journal. The Journal was to show where they wanted to plant the seeds and next we will predict what they will look like when they grow.

Cloe's Garden Journal, they planted flower boxes and we do have some flowers started. We brought the boxes in so hopefully the frost won't kill them.

There are some green specks in there where the flowers have started you might have to look carefully.

We were learning the Letter V so we did Vase and made paper flowers for the vases and they got to make them however they wanted.

Summer is Here

The summer clothes are out and we all of a sudden of tons of new clothes. They kept changing their clothes and even wearing the "new" summer clothes on the still kind of chilly days.

One of the squirrels living in or at least terrorizing the Garage, and the Dog. But she (the dog) caught one a couple days ago and animal control is paying us a visit with traps tomorrow for the rest of the squirrels.

We are out planting flowers and I will be planting the vege's soon too. I am hoping that I have learned a little something and that I might get more things to grow this year. These are not my marigolds but I'm hoping to get some of my own. I'm telling you my thumb is not very green but I think it's gotta just take knowledge I'm hoping that it's not magic that makes someones thumb green. :) We have been getting lots of sun lately and for some reason I forget that there is sun about the first hot day when we go out and I get myself burnt and unfortunately I got Paige burnt this time too. I guess I'm going to have to start putting sunscreen on in the winter so we are in the habit. Our town walking path now comes down as far as our house so we have been using it a lot. I love that we can go outside and use the fresh outdoors, it's so nice, there is so much space and there are lots of things to do.

More Dresses

The Easter bunny also brought dresses so agian we dressed up and got pictures and we also went to an egg hunt. Brent was working so the girls and I ended up finding something to do and it was a lot of fun. Paige just wanted to play at the park or sit in the middle of the grass and look through her basket and the other girls had fun searching for candy.

Greatful Hearts

We had fun Dieing Easter eggs this year my favorite thing was Dakota saying, "Don't say that, that's a bad word," when we said dieing eggs. She even had her own made up word for it. I also loved how into it Brent got he was very proud of his blue blue egg and I must say it was very good.

This was Cloe looking for her basket and she found the empty one that the eggs were in, oops.

"I got one"

She was having too much fun being loose outside that she could care less about eggs. But the funny thing is that when we first got out the Easter decor she would take her basket and go fill it up with eggs dump it out and do it again, I sure thought she would love getting the eggs.

I Just love Easter I was having trouble narrowing down my photos I take tons of Easter photos, it's just a fun time and the girls always look so beautiful in their Easter dresses. We did go visit my family in Casper for the three days before Easter then Brent worked Easter so the Easter Bunny came Easter Eve and hid eggs on the porch and we died eggs and found their baskets. We also enjoyed conference this weekend but the girls were a little disappointed to be all dressed up without anywhere to go. We talked a lot about why we have Easter and about our Savior and what he did for us, I think I might have learned more than the girls this weekend but it was a really good Easter.

PS Cloe insisted on those tights. I had to say oh well life goes on.
