The end of Kindergarden

Cloe's Award Day At school! It's always fun to see her at school and I also love that she still loves to see me come to school!

For Cloe's End of the year Field Trip they went to the Dairy Farm and got to climb up the hay and sounds like it was a lot of fun. I like how small she looks compared to the huge stack of hay.
We went to the Bike rodeo and had a lot of fun face painting a tractor and barrel train ride and the bounce house! We went we played we ate and we left just before the storm! Fun Time!

My Bday and Mother's Day

On mother's day unfortunately Brent had to work the night before so it left me fending for myself that day I even had to cook my own meals, wash my own dishes, and take care of my own kids. :) This is something Brent would normally pamper me and do for me on mother's day so needless to say I was a little disappointed :).  Brent gave me a back rub later to make up for it, good man! The girls were so sweet helping me and hugging me and giving me gifts.  It was a great mother's day the best thing was when I told Brent the day after that it was my birthday the next Friday he said, "What we just had mother's day."

He didn't disappoint it was also a great birthday he got me a cake and took me on a date, the girls and him got me jewelry and some of my best girl friends surprised me after dinner for some girls time and dessert. I have been watching my wait lately and lost a total of 20 lbs, yeah, so for my birthday day I told myself I was going to eat whatever I wanted by the end of the day I was wishing I would have given myself a different gift. :)  Also, I received so many great birthday wishes and cards this year that meant a lot I felt like a very special person. Thanks!

Summer?

Thanks to Aunt Lee the girls have this fun Arial blow up pool.  I thought that the canopy was very cute until we blew it up and realized that it would not be a canopy instead it was a water floaty and the girls enjoyed it even better that way I think. :) anyway they had fun! Since school has gotten out we have been having chilly rainy days this hot summer day happened a couple weeks ago. :)

Cloe and Kota started t-ball tonight I can't believe how big Cloe is getting and  a lot better at t-ball this year.  Kota seemed more interested in the boys than the ball.  It's starting already!

Memorial Day was spent putting flowers on and visiting Brent's family's graves.  We also went up the mountain and saw elk and deer and snow and the last picture isn't a bad picture, that's fog!  Where did those sunny teaser days go! :) Brent was loving it, but I was looking forward to some good rays.

Bye Bye Binky

Is it Just me or did Paige Morph into Barbie?
 Oh there she is!
She decided that she was ready to say good bye to her Binky in exchange for a Balloon to keep and one to let the balloon float away.  (we had been talking it over for weeks and reading about etc.) And after mommy had a melt down over a popped balloon and a closed store we continued to enjoy the good bye Binky activity.  Fortunately for her the Binky was too heavy to officially let the balloon loose this way so we played parachute with it in the yard for a bit and then she was ready to say good bye and she got to cut the Binky into the garbage and then she also got to keep her balloon.  I was worried for the few weeks ahead of sleepless night and was pleasantly surprised that the first night that the Binky was amiss that she did not cry or get out of bed once.  Whew, she must have been ready.  The sweetest thing though was that night I heard a faint sweet voice coming from her bedroom say once, "Binky." Like she was saying a sweet I'll miss you good bye to her Binky.

Abby's Baptism

The girls and I got to go see Abby's Baptism I am glad we went despite my naughty children it was a good experience.  So even though Paige was singing at top lung "I am a Child of God" (Sorry Abby) She has been talking about how badly she wants to be baptized  too whenever we hear about it now.  We are so proud of you Abby what a great example.

Is it just me or is the good weather making the kids so rambunctious?  They've been driving me nuts it probably doesn't help that my mood isn't in tip top condition but seriously I can't get them settle down in the least, I think I can, I think I can I think I can....

Dancing Queens!

We had our Spring Dance Recital this year and it went really well.  The girls did a dance together plus all their class dances and I did a solo this year on my pointe shoes which was a lot of fun.  It turned out really nice it was good to see all that hard work come together. I love my girls and they were so cute to watch at the recital.

Family Fun by tons

We also went to Thermop to celebrate the girl's birthday and we met PoP and Grandma Dot there it was a lot of fun!  We went swimming and ate at Pizza Hut and ate cake and opened gifts it was a nice day.  Kota got all the fixings for a Bug Hunt.  So that's what we did when we got home.  We found lot's of neat bug's and rocks and it was just a lot of fun to be out with the family.  And maybe it will get them over the bug fear. :)  (Paige and I have a pet spider in one of our flower pots that we planted.)  We found a centipede at the house the other day and Kota picked it up and put it in her net, she getting braver with these bugs.  We have also had fun planted our flowers and more grass and we are starting to grow quite a bunch.

For Family Home Evening Alyssa planned the activity for us and we had to see who could get the most clothes on the fastest.  Paige even won the final round.  It was a blast and the girls sure looked great. I loved Paige's "Eye Patch."  (We don't have the girls staying with us anymore we've missed them.)

More FHE Updates:  It's been fun to see the kids get more involved in planning their lesson's Cloe did a Lesson on Courage and tried doing most of it on her own, Kota gave one on Sharing and Service and we brought a plate of cookies to our neighbors, and Paige got some pictures of the Resurrection from her nursery teacher and she told us all about it.  Their favorite activity to do is Hide and Seek.
