Pumpkins, Corn Maze, Hayrides!

We went to Casper to help my dad get his house ready for winter and he took the girls to the corn maze.  They loved it! However the corn was pretty short this year.  Which made it nice, we could see little heads bopping around and it gave them a little more freedom!

One of Paige's new friends at school invited us to the pumpkin patch!  They had a great time!  And they brought their puppy and the girls were loving it.

I love these of Bristol and I! 6 months old!

Apple Picking

We went apple picking for family home evening! We had a good time and got some good apples!  I made pie with them last night! Yeah! It turned out very good!  I still have a lot apple sauce is next on the list!
We went through clothes again! Time to get out the winter clothes!  Paige picked out this outfit I just thought it was sooo cute!! My little cowgirl!

We went to the Greybull/Big Piney football game on Friday!  We had a blast! Paige and her buddy Callie.  I was so proud of Paige she was playing with her friend when another friend came up to them and she said, "play with us!" What a sweet friend.  Her teacher told me that all the girls in her class love Paige and they just follow her around.  One little girl even had hold of her and wouldn't let her go! :) how cute!  She said she is very good and listens well!  I'm proud of Cloe too, one if her friends just wanted to play with her and Cloe said, "let's play with everyone!"  She also got buried in the long jump pit!  Dakota was getting chased by all the boys!  I enjoyed Brent and visiting with friends. Greybull won!  But Brent was rooting for his old team.

Sat. we played soccer as a family and Brent is putting up a fence.  He's still job searching and he has 26 miles left to go to finish his goal of running 100 miles in sept.  I started working at the coffee barn a couple days a week, I'm learning a lot about coffee.  Bristol gets to come with me.  Cloe is doing cheerleading and volleyball. Dakota is doing cheerleading and soccer and Paige is doing soccer too!  Pictures to come!

Foreign

Me on my first day, by myself, working at the coffee barn.  It sure is a foreign business for me!  I have learned a lot about coffee!  The best part about the job is that Bristol gets to come!  I was a litte bummed having to work so close to Bristol being born but this was the best option so that I could be with her plus I enjoy the social part of the job.  The people I work with and the customers.  I got a couple people from England come through and tell me about their travels through the states!  I'm still hopeful for Brent to get a job soon and we r going back to school I'm going to do English Ed and he's doing special ed!  I'm really excited about getting my degree I'll be ready to teach when Bristol starts school! Yeah!
We had some visitors this weekend!  We had a wonderful time. Brent's parents and their foreign exchange students came for the weekend.  The activities were getting firewood and bountiful basket!  Board games and piggy back rides! We went up the mountain and we went fishing, the girls had never been. They got to catch a fish and my girls got some casting practice.  Then we stopped at shell falls and got to look around there.  We went to the New Mexican restaurant and then out for ice cream I was so pooped I fell asleep right when we got home everyone else tried to watch a movie but then also had to retire.  It was nice to have them at church too and then they headed home!

5 months old

These are the pictures from Bristol's 5 month old photo shoot! Believe it or not but I narrowed them down quit a bit!

She has started eating rice cereal but I am using the term "eating" very loosely here.  She has changed from pushing the food out with her tongue to spitting the food out!  She usually sprays me and all surrounding areas with cereal!  But she likes playing with the spoon and bottle while we eat dinner!

She does push ups with her body and pushes herself backwards and around in circles but hasn't quit made it up on her knees yet!  She also grunts and talks and giggles!  My favorite noise is when she makes and ahhhhh noise before she goes to sleep!  Speaking if sleep she still wakes up once or twice to eat at night but I barely even notice because she sleeps with me most of the time and we nurse and I sleep! And then she goes right back to sleep!
Cute little dimple!  A friend of ours said, "she smiles with her whole body!"  And that is so true! Her head down to her toes and she just wiggles and her feet kick and her arms wave! It's really cute!

she is very curious and enjoys crumpling and sucking on paper!  She loves to put everything in her mouth!  She doesn't really care for a pacifier or bottle much, but loves to toys in her mouth!

One if my favorite things she does is grab both her feet and suck on her toes! I think this is what she must have looked like inside my tummy!  What a sweet good baby! We are so blessed to have her!

Lightning

The girls and their cat!
You can't see too well but all three girls looking up at the cat up the tree.  Those cats love their girls.
But unfortunately one of the cats is missing and has been for about a month.  It's Kota's cat lighting!  We decided to give her a funeral.  Kota led a prossesion and she had a vale on and she wrote a beautiful speech about all the fun things she did with lightning and activities that lightning liked to do like play in holes and playing dead and following her all the time especially on walks.  Then she made a cake for the funeral she was in charge of the whole funeral including the cake making, she made a jello poke cake and decorated it with Lightning and the words "I love you."  She was so cute, she said, " thanks for letting me be in charge mom."   The missionaries shared dinner and cake with us.  Then we cut some flowers and made a grave site by Austin (the other dead cat) and put flowers on them and sang a song and said goodbye to the cat, our loved, Lightning.
