Dots

The girls are working on dotting thier names which is suppossed to be the first stages of helping them learn to write. Anyway I just loved the picture of Cloe looking like she's working so hard. Dakota refused a picture until later when she was being a cuddle bug with Paige. In her own time in her own way. :)

Four months old

She already loves to dance! One ... two... three...four...
Sha la la la la la live for today!
Paige really is a very happy girl.

This picture is for Brent. I had to laugh so hard when I found a surprise on Paige's finger just for dad. I'll have to be monitoring Paige pictures for the finger too.
She also loves her hands and she gets her thumb in her mouth, which is something new for me.

Bikes to the Park

We had a beautifully tiring ride to the park. The girls loved it. No hard work in the hot sun and they got to play at the park in between. We did have nice cold ice water to drink and spray on each other. It was nice to get out and do something active with the whole family.Paige at the park, in the swing. Oh my goodness, what a big girl!
Here's me wonderfully exhausted. And Dakota spraying water. When Brent gets the camera.

Meadow Madness

We took a drive up the mountain and it was a nice drive truly beautiful scenery. One dirt road in particular we took was full of drama.
Dramatic scene number one: Cloe running through the meadow. Old Flower power movie. She was wearing her shades too. Very cute.Dramatic Scene Number two: Taking a walk through the beautiful Country side. The Hills were alive.Dramatic Scene Number three: You will have to picture this one a little yourself.
Lindsay: "Oh my Goodness, that moose is so close to the road let's stop and take a picture. Oh man I can't get my camera to work, oh yes...oh nooo..."
There might have been some curse words muttered. When the dog jumped out of the back of the truck and ran after the big bull moose. She's lucky she didn't get kicked or killed.
Brent ran out of the car to go get her, she came out of the trees quite a ways up and didn't see the truck so she tracked her tracks back and Brent tracked them forward and they met again at last. Brent bringing Ebony safely back to the truck.
Cloe: "Oh no Ebony!" Loud Sobbing. "Why did Ebony do that?"
Mom: "She wanted to chase the moose."
Cloe: "Why did Ebony do that?" .......... "Why Did Ebony do that?" and fifty more times later "I'm scared! Where's dad?"
Dakota didn't start talking about it until we got home.
Dakota: "Eby ran away" "That moose" "Doggy chased the moose" "She come back."
It was a good drive with the family the funniest...

Dramatic Scene Number Four: The Cows were spread all over the road. (Which the dog did not get out and chase.) Dad kept saying, "Get your butt off the road!!!" and so we all chimed in. It was really funny especially when the cows tried to run off and their big guts jiggled around.
Well I guess you had to be there for that one, but we wish you were.

"Monster Lobster"

We have been having tons of fun lately. Especially me. Okay life is a lot more fun when you are able to make everything you do, fun! There is always something bad and there is always something good (opposition in all things) at any given moment we could think about something good. (I'm talking myself into this, not lecturing.) So anyway, here are some of the things we've been up to and here are some of the pics from the past week or so.

Cloe loves playing with her friends I can tell this by four reasons.

1.) When we write in her journal she says "I like to play with my friends, dance with my friends etc etc."

2.) She always wants to invite friends over or go to a friends house. (Which I'm a bit of a slacker about.)

3.) She has started acting like and copying her friends. ( I thought this wasn't supposed to start until high school.)

4.) She crying, complains....whenever we have to leave friends.

Cloe, Paige, and Dakota (Cloe just love to have her picture taken and anytime she's acting really cute asks me to get out the camera, I love it when I'm done taking a picture and Dakota says, "Good One!")Dakota is just such a character. I don't ever know what to expect from her, and I just love her smile especially when she is trying to get out of trouble or into it.Brent and Steve went Paint balling, (I got this Picture from Ruth, You can beat me up next time I see you if I wasn't supposed to steal your picture. Thanks :) I just loved watching their faces when they were done or getting ready to go back out and shoot people. They were just having a blast and looked like little kids. We sure enjoyed Steve and Ruth visiting Greybull, especially when they babysat for us and Brent and I got to go to Transformers, good Flick by the way. Thanks again to Steve and Ruth you were great sitters. And I'm glad that you had the Paige sleeping secret to share with your mom. Jane watched my girls so I could be in charge of a funeral Saturday she was very grateful to get the secret and I'm sure Paige was too. (Secret: Wrap her up in a blanket, even when it's hot out, making sure she cannot move her arms. SHHHH really loudly in her ear, bounce up and down, walking around or on the big ball. Give her a pacifier. And hold her close, she loves to cuddle.)

We went to Billings before Brent started his four days back to work. We decided to go to Red Lobster for a treat. The girls were excited to eat at the "fishing Place." Brent was yearning for the experience of eating a Lobster. So he got the bib and everything and when the lobster came Dakota called it a "Monster." So, we enjoyed our "monster lobster" and decided it was a once in a lifetime experience. :) But was definitely worth every one's faces and full tummy's.

Fourth Fun!!

Dakota with her ladybug and her fourth of July fireworks hair do.
Cloe showing off the wind chimes she made.
All three modeling their Fourth of July attire.

Dakota and Cloe
Paige's First Independence day!

Brent's Parents came down this weekend and we also got to see Trish and Trevor and cousins. We went to a BBQ at the ponds out at Trish's parents place, what a fun place. Not only did the girls get to enjoy their cousins but there was good food, paddle boats, fire, swing, teeter totters..etc. I wish I had some pictures. We went to the Cody Parade, unfortunately we did not get any candy but the girls did enjoy the horses and ponies. Then we had lunch at a park near by with cousins and grandma and grandpa.

We also enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa's dog around especially Ebony. We hung out on the front porch and went and watched the fireworks. Dakota was fast asleep before they were over and we were all past ready for bed.

Baby Shower

I took off to Casper Friday. Three little girls and I. We left Brent at home to work and Lounge.

Here he is modeling his tie dye. The girls and I made us all tie die, we will have to feature the family in tie dye another day.The trip to Casper was a lot of fun. I had a mind set of take it slow and it will all get done and we will get there. So we went shopping at Ross I just love Ross they have great prices and you can find great things and I did find some things I have been needing. Saturday morning I went to Garage sales my mom staying home with the kids and I got a lot done and found everything on my list for great prices and condition. Lawn Mower, Bike Trailer, head board and foot for our bed and some odds and ends that would have cost me a lot more. Casper was a great place to Garage Sale. Then we went to Nic Fest and the girls got their knee painted by Dorothy and we got to hang out with my dad there. Then we went to the Park and had a Picnic with my friends Heidi and Keri. Then we went home and took a break and then we went swimming at the outdoor kiddie pool. Dakota said one of her favorite parts about the day was getting to see the neighbors puppy. Sunday was not as full we had Heidi's baby shower and we hung out at her house with her and her family. It was great to be with old Friends and we are all having a baby girl at the same time.(I really did not like how I look in this pic but I love that we are all in it.)
