Meadow Madness

We took a drive up the mountain and it was a nice drive truly beautiful scenery. One dirt road in particular we took was full of drama.
Dramatic scene number one: Cloe running through the meadow. Old Flower power movie. She was wearing her shades too. Very cute.Dramatic Scene Number two: Taking a walk through the beautiful Country side. The Hills were alive.Dramatic Scene Number three: You will have to picture this one a little yourself.
Lindsay: "Oh my Goodness, that moose is so close to the road let's stop and take a picture. Oh man I can't get my camera to work, oh yes...oh nooo..."
There might have been some curse words muttered. When the dog jumped out of the back of the truck and ran after the big bull moose. She's lucky she didn't get kicked or killed.
Brent ran out of the car to go get her, she came out of the trees quite a ways up and didn't see the truck so she tracked her tracks back and Brent tracked them forward and they met again at last. Brent bringing Ebony safely back to the truck.
Cloe: "Oh no Ebony!" Loud Sobbing. "Why did Ebony do that?"
Mom: "She wanted to chase the moose."
Cloe: "Why did Ebony do that?" .......... "Why Did Ebony do that?" and fifty more times later "I'm scared! Where's dad?"
Dakota didn't start talking about it until we got home.
Dakota: "Eby ran away" "That moose" "Doggy chased the moose" "She come back."
It was a good drive with the family the funniest...

Dramatic Scene Number Four: The Cows were spread all over the road. (Which the dog did not get out and chase.) Dad kept saying, "Get your butt off the road!!!" and so we all chimed in. It was really funny especially when the cows tried to run off and their big guts jiggled around.
Well I guess you had to be there for that one, but we wish you were.

Sounds like an action packed Sunday drive. I bet the girls talk about the moose incident for weeks...

Sounds like the moose/Ebony incident traumatized the girls. I can totally imagine Abby and Brinly being the same way. :o)
