Dance Recital

Oh and it was also my last night of cake decorating class so I did a congrats cake for the girls recital, It was funfetti cake with pink filling (jello flavored icing) and Dakota just loved it she kept picking it out of her pieces of cake and then getting some from everybody else.

Okay I hate how far behind I am in keeping up on my blog so here it is from way back in May, the Girls Dance recital and mine too I guess. Last year I had four dances and this year we had nine dances and I think the girls did a great job. Cloe and Dakota looked so cute and did a great job. I wasn't able to get pictures of the peformance but we did get in on video. The Dress rehearsal was a nightmare but the performance went really well I was happy that they were able to show what they had learned. I was so stressed during the dress and then on the recital night I just said everybody have fun and they did and it was a fun night and we had everybody come to the stage and dance after and it was just a good night. I got a lot of good pictures of Dakota that night she sure was able to to be a diva. And I also didn't get pictures after I must have been just so relieved to be done that it slipped my mind but they had three costumes the first was the gingham outfits and then they wore robes and then we made those black and pink tutu's.

Us Girls

We haven't been really very exciting aroung our house lately but here's what we've been up to: My birthday was a lot of fun and I made the cake for it because I'm taking a cake decorating class and it's been a lot of fun! Cloe started Guitar Lessons and she's learned Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Mary had a Little Lamb. She loves to roll her eyes at me when it's time to practice. I asked her if this was something she really wanted to do and she said, "I really want to be a guitar girl." We are getting ready for our dance recital and a new house and I feel really boring right now so I will log off...

Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter on Saturday. We Woke up to baskets and eggs from the easter bunny. Of course Paige was all about the candy. Dakota loved her purple my little pony and Cloe was cuddling her bunny. We went to the Water egg hunt at the pool it was a lot of fun I'm even featured on the front page of the newspaper. Cloe was determenind to get the golden egg at the hunt and she swam first thing straight for it and she got a stffed ducky for it. Paige was gathering all of the floating rubber duckies with bunny ears and Dakota was after all the plastic eggs I was so proud of her swimming all around on her own. I've got some brave strong girls.

We got home tooka rest and then went to the Movie Hop it was cute and Paige actually let us watch it. Then we cam ehome for dinner and a little wrestling. It was a good easter. Sunday Brent worked we went to church and celebrated the real meaning of easter.

Happy Spring!

The kids being gangster. Cloe maticulasly making her easter eggs.

Easter egg dieing fun. Brent and I left our eggs in for a very long time and they were super dark and it was fun. Mine was red and his was green we were chrristmas colored spring eggs :)

Kota and dadPaige smiles for the camera. I love how at this age this is what they think it looks like to smile.

Cloe Learned to ride a bike without training wheels all on her own. What determination. She got on her cousins bike and started riding it and so we took hers off when we got home. She been practicing and doing very well and gets right back up when she falls.

The girls made cupcakes. I was making cakes for their birthday's and I got kind of possesive over them so I let them make cupcakes anyway they wanted.

Cloe Turning the light switch on and off with her foot it was hilarious. All of a sudden the lights turned off and we looked over and there her feet were in the air.

We have been busy this spring with activities and mostly enjoying the nice weather playing outside. We also went to Casper and saw my Sister LeeAnn and Uncle Girvin it was nice to see them and we also got to see Grandma Nessi, Pop, Grandma Dot and My friend Heidi. My batteries were out in my Camera so I didn't get any pics. But it was nice to see everyone.

Paige Turns Two!

We went to the park. She was avoiding pictures with smiles the whole day but I caught a couple. She thought it was a very fun game, getting away from moms camera.

Girls Running to the park...it's been so long since it's been nice enough to stay outside for very long.

Paige's smile opening gifts.

Cake and Ice cream. We sure have a lot of cake around the house.

Paige is two and testing me often but she is also such a joy to be with she does smile all the time and she has such an easy going way to her and she loves to brush her teeth in the morning and she goes and get the brushes and hair things and loves to do my hair. What a sweetie. She is talking a lot more, she is very hard to understand but tries to say most things. We were just going through these pictures and she said, "a ide." (the slide)

Dakota Turns Four!

We made necklaces and she wanted to wear a party dress too!
Had Cake....Sleeping Beauty, and Pink and Purple were the most important parts. I had fun my first tie using fondant.

We had cake and ice cream.

Gifts....when we asked what Kota wanted for her Birthday she told me I want friends to come and get me a surprise so that's what she got. :)

Dakota was being a bit reserved with her friends untill we started Duck Duck goose and she was right it there amking everybody laugh.
We also took her out to eat to SideKick and to the Basin theatre Gullivers Travels...It was a good birthday.
Dakota turns four and we had told her when Cloe started preschool that she would get to go to preschool when she turned four so the day after her birthday she asked me do I get to go to school today and it took some convincing when cloe went to school but we made it past it.

We have decided to do big parties every four years so...when they turn four, eight, twelve, and sixteen. That way we can remain sane and be equal. :)

I didn't do it Officer!

Brent is the new Police Officer in town and it's been a nice change so far. We get to see him more and his schedule will be easier to plan around. He liked his job before but this is a good step forward. He's been arresting people, pulling them over, and I've been informed that I better follow the law or I'll be pulled over, so much for benefits j/k :). He's still learning a lot and he'll be going to the academy in August.
