The Party!

Project of the year!  The girls are to have a big friend party every four years.  Well it was Paige's year and she really wanted to have a swimming party so I agreed. (Getting the mess out of the house how nice.)  Then I realized that Kota's every four years ends up on the opposite years as the other two so we put her year with the others and she agreed that a pool party sounded great!

They were going through my cake pop book and really wanted these animals.  Well they only get to pick a cake or cake pops.  Well one of them wanted cake and one of them wanted cake pops.  So we did a barnyard cake with animal cake pops.  The cake pops were a pain in the rear to make but I really enjoyed making the cake.

So...We decided on a barnyard pool party!

Here they are at the party with their cake...
 and with their friends...

And we sang to them and blew out the candles before the cake melted in the heat of the pool area...
We put balloons in the water and we had a ball in the water.  Paige said she had a fun time, and Kotalee loved it too.
We made a great choice for their party this year.  We had a lot of great friends at the party it was a blast.  Even when I coaxed Brent into the water doing his flips off the diving board and then he almost got drowned by all the kids in the water.  Then he got taken down by my friend and I and then he pulled me in the water with him.  It was a great party!

"I NOT A BABY ANYMORE"

I can't believe Paige is Four.  She is so cute and so grown up.  I love how sweet and caring she is and her smile can just light up a room.  She wanted Macaroni and Cheese for dinner and I asked her what she wanted for a vegetable and she picked Juicy Salad (Oriental Salad.) And she wanted Rice Krispy Treats for dessert and to bring to school.
 She got Tinkerbelle wall decals...
Monster High Doll (don't ask me why she likes creepy things, she also likes the zombie book and snake book from the library.)
A friend made her kitties in a box.

She got to stay up with mom and hang her wall decals.  She did a great job.  I like how she put things together. i.e.  the butterflies were next to each other because they were, "mom and baby!"  Great day!

The Big Six

I can not believe she's six!  She is growing up so much.  She is the girl who always knows what she wants and she goes for it.  I love that quality about her.  She wanted spaghetti, French bread, and canned green beans for dinner, and she wanted the left over pie in the fridge for dessert.

She got glitter glue and sticky gems.
 And a Fairy Winx doll.
Also for another surprise she's been wanting to switch beds so we all pitched in and helped switch the beds around.  Cloe was such a good sport helping and even leaving her a nice note on her pillow.  She also got to pass out Rice Krispy Treats at school.  She had a really good birthday.
A Friend made her a shawl and gave her a kitty purse making kit and she got her picture alphabet book from Grandma Casey.

We can't wait for spring!

We have had some teaser days of spring and we can't wait.  The girls already wanting to eat outside.  Dad was in charge of dinner and they loved eating their peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.

We are growing plants indoor to get ready for spring.  I'm still subbing and teaching dance and taking Aqua Zumba which I love.  It really takes me somewhere else being in the waater and the music and the movement.  I really enjoy it.  The girls are busy too with their same activities.  Paige has been going through a shy stage at preschool and church but she seems to be getting past it okay.  Brent has been working night shift so he is adjusting.  I've starting selling doTERRA CPTG essential oils and we are just loving them and benefiting from them soooo much.

We had the missionaries and some friends over for dinner and we really enjoyed it.  I've really been feeling more like myself and being able to reach out to others has been making my life a lot better. :)

Funny faces

I just started aqua Zumba tonight! I'm happy Brent will be home for the month so I can go. It's nice to have a class to motivate me to exercise more regularly! I've been subbing about once a week and was on the Hiring committee for the new school nurse which was fun to use some of my old skills! :) I've been teaching solo's and dance classes and been learning lot's about doTERRA essential oils and have been excited about how they are changing our life's and sharing it with others. Paige and I have been enjoying our time together when the other are in school and cooking she love to help. Kota and Cloe and I have enjoyed playing Sorry and doing homework! Cloe finished swimming and is doing shake rattle and roll and read. Kota is doing riding lessons and shake rattle roll and read and she did wacky science last month which she loves! Paige has been enjoying friends, preschool, story time, and mom and dad time! Brent has been doing basketball, work, wood work projects, and little fixes around the house. We had fun getting A & W and enjoying each other even the videos of bricks being split. The girls were loving it! Here are some funny faces... Girls having fun!
