Home

Brent and I were hoping to get a house in Burlington it had three bedrooms and a nice yard and the price was good too. We thought we might get it because we knew that they were calling our references. The last we knew though we were only the second people on the list. Thursday the man in charge of the houses, which are actually rented out through the school district, called me. He said that they had just signed a contract with the people who had put their application in just before us. But before they did that they had had a meeting with the super intendent, the man in charge of the houses, and some people from the city. Apparently they really wanted to rent us the house but they had to stick with the first come first serve rule. They said "Don't you really want a Sheriff in town." Maybe they wanted some new faces around.

So now we are first on a list for a two bedroom trailer in Greybull. It's pink and not the nicest of places but I'm just glad we know that we have a place to live because apparently there is nowhere to live in greybull. So we feel pretty lucky, but we are still looking though, so those of you who have been helping us keep your eyes open for us. :)
So this is it, the trailer that we will be living in if no one else will be willing to house us and two kids. Yep, we are still looking. :)

"My Knee Hurts"

Cloe has been complianing about her Knee hurting for about five months and after about two months we went to see the doctor and he didn't find anything wrong so we took x-ray's and they couldn't find anything then we had to go see the bone doctor and he had more x-ray's done and still nothing and then they finally decided to go aheasd with a MRI and a Bone Scan. So last Tuesday Cloe went in for the procedures. Poor thing, she had to get poked three times for the IV they had to put her to sleep to get the procedures done.I gave in and let her have a pacifier for the days events. We had along day but she was stoked about the popsicles afterwards. She did give the nurses a hard time though because they didn't have blue popsicles, so they searched all over the hospital and finally found one for her.

Now for the results. Well, the doctors could not even believe what they found so don't be surprised if you don't either. So, I have a two year old with a torn meniscus in her knee. The meniscus is usually in a half moon and hers is stuck in a whole moon shape and torn too. They really don't know what to do right now. The doctor does not have equipment small enough to do a knee her size. He is going to talk to a pediatric doctor about it, who he said will probablly not believe it either. If the doctor in billings can't do it either we might be looking at going to Salt Lake or Denver.

I guess the lesson is that two year olds do know what they are talking about.

Snow!!!!!!!!

There is snow in Powell. Okay wait a minute.... there was snow in powell. Sunday it snowed and snowed and even stayed through monday morning. So I decided I better get the girls out to play in the snow before it melted and sure enough it was melted by the afternoon. Dakota did not like it, I think it could have been due to the swim suit oops no not swim suit, snow suit :) and the lack of movement. Cloe loved it, she threw snow at me so I had to get her back and we laughed about that and she loved making snow angels and then she decided that her gloves where holding her back so I said ok but your hands are going to get cold and she touched the snow and that was the end of being outside. We had to go inside and cuddle in a blanket.

FHE: Brent gave a lesson on Faith and letting the lord lead us where we need to go we also talked about what faith meant and for part of the activity we showed them that we hid their "Lovey's" Under a blanket. (Lovey's is the word we use for their stuffed toy they sleep with and love.) Then we said, " Are you're lovey's under there?" "Can you see them?" "No, but they are still there." And we related it to our heavenly Father. Then we also played a game to race who could find the objects faster on a one of those hidden pictures. Cloe did really good.

Call Back

I really don't have anything really exciting to share. I wish that I did. Brent and I are on the search for places to live still. You know what I hate. I've never had this problem really before and I did not realize how annoying it is. I've been calling tons of people for tons of different reasons this week. And I think one person has called me back. I've had to call everyone back multiple times and it's not like I didn't give them at least a day to call back. And my list of people to talk to is not small. So, I hate it when people do not call back. I mean if it wasn't important I wouldn't have left a message.

Brent had to work all week and weekend, he's going to be busy for awhile. Church is kinda hard without the second party I sure do admire all those women going to church either without their husbands or if their husbands are sitting in the stands. Brent really likes his job so far, so I hope it stays that way.

Lets see I guess I could share FHE: We had a lesson on Happiness. Like what makes us happy and what can we do to be happy and then went to the park. I didn't have the energy to make any treats tonight.

On the look

Mom, Dakota, and Cloe having a snack. Weekend: Brent's Parents came to visit this weekend. It was a nice visit. We love having them come to stay. We had to do more business then play though. We drove about looking for places to live. There isn't that much. But we'll find something nice. We did enjoy one of the last weekends we'll have for awhile and we even got to watch parts of conference too.

FHE: Brent gave a lesson on making a happy home wherever we go. Something like that he did a good job :) I'm a little nervous about such a small town. Then Cloe wanted to do "Skin Stickers" for the activity. Skin stickers is the name we have given for fake tatoo's because we do not want to promote tatoo's anymore then we have to. ;) This is Cloe and her Flower "Skin Sticker."

It's Official!

Brent is officially an officer of Big Horn Basin. They gave him his uniform and everything. Although he told them that wranglers weren't really his style, "they said he'd live." :) He kept putting the badge up and laughing. Can't believe he's in law enforcement. He's really excited and will start training next weekend. He will be working the weekends until the semester is over and then start full time. He will have a four days on and four days off schedule to start and he needs to still go to the academy either in May or Sept.
I'm looking for some places to rent. Worland is looking good right now I'll see what I can find.

LeeAnn's Home!!!!!!!!

My Dad and Cloe had some fun on the fourwheeler.

My sister got home from her mission on friday. We met her at the airport their were lot's of happy tears. I glad she's home. She sure has changed. She's a lot more mature and outspoken, but she's still the same person. :) Anyway, I guess it's suppossed to take awhile to get back to "real" life. We had a good weekend with her and my family.

FHE: We had a lesson on communicating feelings and wants, and we played ring around the rosy, Cloe asked really nicely. :)
