Cute Things

Cloe:
We went to the park yesterday and afterwards cloe said, "I had fun at the park mom, thanks for taking me." My heart melted.
She was also so cute at the park she made snow angels in the small rocks and was sliding down the slide saying, "Save me, Save me!"
Grandma Nessi took the girls to the Tate Musuem to look at fossils and dinosaur bones. Cloe didn't understand why some of the fossils weren't moving so I tried to explain that they were dead a long time ago and preserved. She said, "Oh" Like she was sad and then said, "We need to clean them up."
They also got small dinosaurs to play with. They have been attached to them. Cloe is so cute making up stories and playing all sorts of games with her dinosaurs.
Dakota:
She was running around the park walking so that her legs went out to the side and her shoulders were going up and down and her mouth was moving all over, it was so fun to watch, I need a video of it. And she was loving the slides, she just kept going up and back down over and over.
Oh she did attempt the Rock angels that cloe was making but she didn't want to lay in the rocks.
Dakota loves to lay in hard for a big hug and sometimes I'm not paying attention and she misses. Ooops!
At On the Border, a mexican restaurant, Dakota picked up a glass bottle of hot sauce before I could remove it and it hit the table and broke, so we had to change tables. Ooops again.
Sometimes when I tell her she can't do something she says kay and them obey's other times she screams and other times she says kay and does it anyway.
She is so fun to watch trying to figure things out and do things that Cloe does and want to climb really scary things at the park. She is saying so many words I love it when she says, "Gargeege" and then goes to throw things away for me. It's soooo cute.

Colorado

We had a nice trip to Colorado this weekend. It was so nice to get to drive down with brent. Brent drove the van back to the Academy Sunday. Thanks to the G G's (Great Grandparents).

Saturday we had a fun day with Aunt Polly. She brought fun books and She took us to the zoo. We had a great time. We parked at the tiger..... ROARRRR!!!!

Dad was the wagon driver. Cloe loved it when the animals were looking at her.Cloe, mom, Dakota, and Dad. (I really wish I had my better camera, but you all get the idea!)Sunday we went to Aunt Polly's house and we did lot's of fun things, crafts, trains, made cookies, and Dakota found the cat door it was just her size. Uncle ray was having fun with it too but he snuck away just in time for the camara to be ready.

At Grandma Carols the girls got to water the plants, and it was fun to see them playing with toys that I used to play with at grandma's and Great Grandma also read them stories that I remember her reading to us. They also got to rake up the leaves and play in them. Cloe's favorite part was hiding in them and making it her bed. Dakota wasn't into it very much. But she did think that the dog should be. The girls also had fun Walking the dog and going to the park.

We left monday afternoon so that we would get to douglas when brent got out of classes and we went to dinner together and we got to see his room. So now Cloe knows where Daddy's school is.
(I'm really upset with my pictures, Brent guess what I want for christmas?!?! :)

No Worries

I don't think I've ever had so much fun making cookies before. I wasn't planning on giving any away or making any for a special occasion but just to make cookies. We found some cookie dough in my dad's freezer some icing and some sprinkles that were almost in season. :) Cloe and Dakota ate cookie dough while I put them on the sheets and in the oven then Dakota went to sleep and Cloe and I got to decorate. It was so much fun because I just let her do it all herself. Sometimes I like to have things a certain way but I didn't care I just let her do it however she wanted and I even let her lick frosting and eat the sprinkles and whatever and I never said a thing unless she wanted help. Just beware if you want to eat one. :) Just kidding dad they are safe.

Monday Night

We had a really good Family Home evening at Grandma and Grandpa Casey's. Cloe had the song but couldn't make up her mind until after we sang popcorn popping, then she wanted to sing twinkle twinkle and I think there was another one too. Then we had to say let's do the prayer and lesson. Mom gave the lesson who Family, friends, and Stangers were. We had pictures of each and then also pictures of a hug, kiss, playing with friends, and stay away. We matched them up and talked about them. (Cloe thinks eveyone is her friend.) :) Then....now that I'm writing this I fear that we forgot the activity. Sorry Grandma, I don't know how we skipped the funnest part. But we did have fun driving around and eating McDonalds Ice Cream. Grandpa had treats. :) It was a fun evening.

Unfortunatly, Brent wasn't around to enjoy the evening. He left for the Academy the night before and with be in douglas until October 28th, coming to see us on the weekends. We miss him already. Cloe always says, "Daddy a." When she's sad or in trouble. He passed the PT test Monday morning. Which was consisted of the mile and a half, push ups, and sit ups. I wasn't worried. He did great, and is on to live another day at the academy, he is the squad leader this week and busy studying and getting to know the others there.

The Temple

Brent and I got to go to the Vernal temple on Wednesday. It was so good to not just go to the temple but also get to go where we were married. It was a wonderful feeling and the spirit was so strong. I truly know that our savoir loves us and is there for us in all our needs. I appreciate and love my husband he truly is a great man and I'm also truly greatful that he holds the preisthood in our home.

Grandma and Grandpa Casey's

Cloe had to go outside even when it was raining!
We are staying with Grandma and Grandpa Casey right now. We are still making rounds. Brent starts the Academy on the Sept. 8th and we will continue making rounds with family until October. We have been having fun building forts, swimming, "playing at the park" which is what Cloe calls Grandma's swing set, painting, and playing dress up! Brent is coming tonight and we are excited!
