Todays Adventures

I have been totally bummed because we misplaced Paige's Lovey Bear and I'm pretty sure it was in a parking lot run over and ruined and tossed. This morning I called the Doctor's office in Powell which was one of the places it could have been and they said they had it, I was so excited I hurried and got everyone ready to go and we headed out the house and off to Powell for the beloved Lovey Bear. When we got to the Doctor's office and Paige saw her bear coming first it was like "that couldn't be my bear could it" kind of look and then when the lady handed it to us Paige started shaking and she was grinning ear to ear and the secretary's were so happy they could help and they were just aweing over her "Ohhhhh she is soooo happy!" And Paige had to make up for lost cuddle time too. Tonight she fell right asleep...oh sweet sweet lovey. (this picture was taken when Paige was three months old and lovey was a little less loved at this point)
We were lucky enough that cousins were not busy and we got to play. The girls were having lots of fun and they came and asked for me to take a picture, I think it was a great idea they are super cute. So, after our drive home the girls were sleeping so I drove around town for a minute and the antique store had some neat things outside so I stopped to look and then the girls woke up and so we got out and looked around all the thrift stores downtown and we found some little saucer plates for 10 cents and we decided to purchase these for an art project also inspiration from the Creative Family which encouraged thinking and using things from thrift stores for art. The girls really loved making their plates into a creation all of their own. We did use acrylic paint for glass. They also really liked how the sun looked through their plates, Dakota's colors all kind of mixed together. :)Tonight was a Wii archery tournament for the elders at church it was a nice dinner and fun with friends. Brent got third place. He took home the Bronze. :)

Our Fancy Tea Party

Paige is about to crawl to me then Cloe is in the big pink hat and Dakota is in the pink fairy dress.

We went to a Fancy Nancy Tea Party for story time on Wednesday. The girls really enjoyed dressing up and going out and they even helped me pick out an outfit I figured it was better than going out to a resurant in our fancy clothes like Fancy Nancy did which they had kept asking me to do. Brent said we could have a fancy dinner at home instead. They read Fancy Nancy and then had Lemonade and cupcakes, Paige even had a cupcake all over me and the floor.

11 months

I can't believe that Paige is almost a year old, she has taken her first couple steps. She usually takes a step and them falls straight forward into my arms, such trust. :) She is such a sweetheart just so curious about her world and just smiling all the time she really can brighten my day. She also has her first tooth poking out on the bottom right. She doesn't like or eat baby foods, she wants the real stuff. And she looks just like her Dad.

Create

Aunt Polly sent me this book it's called the Creative Family by Amanda Blake Soule, I really like it. She also has a blog www.amandasoule.com. It has been inspirting me to let me kids be a bit more messy and create without worrying about mess, and it also helped me to see many different ways that I can creativly reuse things that I have and spend less money for things that I need or things that we can do to spice things up. Cloe had a plain pink shirt that we got at Walmart for a couple dollars and I had this old necklace that I didn't want to get rid of because LeeAnn made it for me but it didn't fit anymore so I sewed it right on her shirt and I do think that it makes her shirt have a bit more personality and I reused something that I wanted to keep and didn't want to throw away.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a great Valentines Day! Lot's of love was shared to us and we enjoyed sharing some. We made some valentine pillows for some of the girls friends and cards for family and I hope that the girls were able to learn something about giving and showing that you care for someone. We also made heart shaped cookies made with Jello they were not only cute but delicious. Dad got the girls some candy and Aunt Polly sent some wonderful love stories that we've been enjoying this season. I had to get the girls some matching tights to make their christmas dresses turn Valentines and all I can say about the pictures I got is oh what fun. I love these girls. My Husband was also very thoughtful. We have a tradition of getting each other a movie each year and we exchanged those and we went to the stake valentines dinner it was very nice. We also made steack and macaroni yesterday. It's been a great weekend I'm so happy that Brent finally has a Holiday and a weekend off. Yeah!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Snow Fun

Winter is a little tough because the kids are cooped up in the house a lot of the times and after christmas there isn't much to do or to be excited about. But we did go outside and play in the snow and had a blast. It's just not the same when it's cold outside because they do not stay out very long and then I have to make hot chocolate when they get in and it's so messy and I don't exactly know why I don't like making it. Anyway, we also had a snowman party to celebrate winter boredom and it was really fun we made snowman cookies played outside for a short time it was freezing the day of our party and we colored snowmen and then just hung out with friends it was a good time. I didn't get any photos of it but we did send invitations it was also something to eliviate boredom.
Paige is ten months old now and she stands up for short periods of time and walks with help and does a little bit of cruising the furniture. She crawls everywhere though so I am chasing her all over and these are the days of delayed showers and all sorts of other needed things. That just have to get done when they get done. :) Oh yeah and she waves and claps and plays peek-a-boo and she loves to play with her sisters. Cloe will just run around or act really silly and Paige just laughs and laughs. These girls are really lots of fun.

Mini Post

This is my new car. I'm so excited, it's so awesome I totally love it! 2006 dodge caravan. It's too late and cold for me to go out and take a picture of mine.  Automatic doors, awesome!!  When you have kids you don't have hands so it comes in handy!
