Summer is Going On...

...And here is how it's going....we had a vacation so we the first day we stayed home and took out around home and went to the big horn lake and went to the beach and it was a lot of fun. We went down to the Denver area and got to see a lot of family. We went to the Zoo with Brent family the girls loved being with cousins. Brent was calling over the monkeys and he succeeded they were sure giving us a show, that was fun.
The monkeys :)
The Cousins and the big ugly turle, Cloe loved it though I even caught her giving the turle a kiss, it was sooooo cute I'm sad that I missed the pic though.
Dad and Paige walking checking everything out.

Kotalee, Paige, Autumn, and the Penguins we got to watch them get fed and we also got to watch the Sea Lion show, the adults weren't too impressed with the show but the kids loved it and untimatly I was glad the we raced everyone across the zoo to see it even though we ended up back tracking a lot. :) PS it was a very very hot 103
We got to see my family, we had lunch with my grandma and we had dinner at my Aunt Polly's it was so nice to see them and enjoy their company. Cloe had the camera for awhile I should showcase some of her work at another time.
Cloe and Polly drawing.
We took a drive up the mountain and had a picnic, went fishing at Casey's Ponds, and took a walk it was a nice evening.
Paige is growing so fast she wants to do everything her big sisters do and they get mad because she jujst can't quite do it all yet.
Four Buck Deer walking across the empty Lot across from our house. Also, the red car is not there anymore we sold it, yeah!
These were just a few of my favorite pictures I couldn't believe that I had 180 pictures when I downloaded them, I guess that's what I get for giving Cloe a chance to capture her creativity on film, thank goodness for digital camera's.

Miss Cloe

Poor Cloe, She is such a sweet girl I just hate that she always having some kind of injury. First she's got the torn meniscus. We just went to see a surgeon on Friday and Cloe has a Hernia and has to go in for surgery at the end of the month.
Then today Cloe fell off of the Couch and she broke her collar bone and has this brace and sling to help it heal but it hurts her pretty bad. (and of all the things I worry about the couch is the culprit)

Independence

For the weekend of the fourth of July Brent worked but the plus side is he made holiday pay and then he got to come home and watch the fireworks we are back to the day shifts yeah!! We went out with some friends who got some fireworks and watched them shot off fire works and the girls did sparklers. Then we went to the park and watched fireworks it was a nice fireworks display that kept on going like the energizer bunny. Dakota was afraid of the big booms, she was so excited to go though, even her nursery teachers told me how excited she was to go to the fireworks. Cloe had a blast with her friends. It was a good fourth, I was disappointed in the choice of music at the park however, I mean whatever happened to patriotic music. I tried to insert the star-spangled banner but it clashed with the folk tunes. What is happenning to this country when you can't even get the star spangled banner with your fireworks on Independence Day. I am grateful for our freedom it scares me a bit to know we could lose it but if I trust in the lord our family will be okay.

Circus

A friend of ours got the girls tickets to the circus, so we went, Brent was going to come with but he was really tired still he's been working the night shift so he needed his rest and so I asked a young women in our ward to come with and help me, it was really nice Dakota loved it she sat on her lap the whole time and it was nice not to have her acting out. Paige at the circus the Ponies didn't interest her
But Cloe and Dakota loved the pony ride.
Cloe was the only one who was willing to look at me for a minute to pose for a picture. The entertainment at the circus was pretty good they did some pretty amazing things, but as you can see from this picture the circus tent was in shambles and in desperate need for a new tent I hope that all the funds we spent on this thing will help with that. The girls enjoyed it for the most part they both want to swing in the trapeze someday, it looks a bit too scary for me. And after the entertainment, snow cones, popcorn, and ponies I was feeling like a pretty good mom letting the girls indulge a bit...I was bombarded with whining from Cloe for more. I guess kids will be kids and I did my best to help her see all of the things she did get. I don't really want to go back it wasn't worth it for me...but the girls did enjoy it I just think I'd rather spend my money elsewhere they charge way to much for pony rides and snow cones.

Popsicles

Thus far this summer we have been busy....
1.) Having fun at the Ward Dinner (Thanks to Sister Nelson for the Photos and the fun night.)

I'm so glad I wasn't visible for this one. Sorry brent :)

2.) Enjoying summer foods such as these popsicles, a wonderful treat for the outdoors at our house.

3.) Taking a Day trip to Casper to meet LeeAnn Boyfriend. They are really cute together. So similar.

4.) Having a Garage Sale. I made about $100 not to bad but I'm not sure that is completely made up for all the tears from the baby things being sold. Brent's comfort was, "Don't worry if we have another baby I'll buy you an even better one." Thanks hunny. :)

5.)Taking Walks and riding bikes except I blew out my tires on some goat heads and I need new tubes now, seriously where did the end of the pavement come from.

6.) Playing at the park. We were able to go with the sanderson's one evening. We also got to enjoy a visit from Uncle Steve and Aunt Ruth that is always a good time.

7.) Enjoyed the Greybull Parade and a Visit from Grandma Nessi. The people next to us said that watching Paige Dance was their favorite part of the Parade. It was pretty cute she sure knows how to groove.

8.) Swimming Lessons! The Greybull pool is currently closed down so we took the kids to Basin for lessons and the first whole week all Paige wanted to do was cling to me but the second week she was all over the place she almost passed guppies her first go. The other two passed to Jellyfish. Kota was quite the handful she didn't want to get in the water with her teacher so the minute he turned his back she would jump in. She wanted to do everything herself, this isn't new for her. Cloe was diving in and getting things off of the bottom of the pool, she seemed like she was listening to her teacher pretty well until I overheard... her teacher say, "Now let's swim over there." Cloe says, "No, I think I'll just walk." In the sweetest voice. I hope next year goes better, let's just put it that way. :)

Pageant Queens

(I love this picture and the crooked smile reminds me of the Rugrats.)

We decided to put on a beauty pageant and the girls and I had a lot of fun dressing up putting on make up and practicing for Dad. We even had a runway and crowns for all of them as winners. All the girls did a great job with their dance for the talent portion but I was most surprised with Paige she just kept dancing and dancing and didn't want to stop. Paige loves to get dressed and put the necklaces on and off. She tries to dress herself every morning and loves going through the laundry to put all the clothes over her head. So Cute! Dad was a great audience for our show.

My Birthday!

I really had a great birthday. Brent got me a cake which is the first one he has ever got me and I was surprised how happy that made me and it's funny because I don't necessarily love cake(Chocolate cake is yummy) but it felt great to have a cake and blow out a candle and they got me a few gifts. Brent got me this table cloth and some goodies for the kithen with the girls and I got many great birthday wishes, but it was funny because my phone turned off because I was out of battery and I got a phone call from my dad in the morning but the rest of the day I didn't get any calls I was a bit curious as to why until I checked my phone late at night and found my messages. It was a good day!
I have made a new blog about me dealing with Anxiety and lessons I'm learning check it out. www.fromanxioustoeased.blogspot.com
